Recent Read: Choke by Chuck Palahniuk

I love this book! And I love Chuck Palahniuk. I also like his other book, Snuff, which I read before this. I like how he creates sentences and how he sprinkles some tidbits of info along the novel. Palahniuk’s not for the faint-hearted, though.
Anyhoo, what I like about this novel is how even though the characters get really f@#$ed up as the novel progresses, they somehow end up with a sort-of happy ending at the end. “We Found Love” is not the right song, but it’s the first song that came to mind. :))

a bouquet of clumsy words: you know that place between sleep and awake where your still dreaming but it`s slowly slipping? i wish we could feel like that more often. i also wish i could click my fingers three times and be transported to anywhere i like. i wish that people didn`t always say ‘just wondering’ when you both know there was a real reason behind them asking. and i wish i could get lost in the stars.
listen, there`s a hell of a good universe next door, let`s go

New year’s resolution.
As you can see on my previous post, I’ve only read half as much books as I’ve read in 2010. Curse thee, law school. haha. Hence, one of my goals for 2012 is to finish 15 books by June. Good luck, dear self! :))
